1. Preciseness and accuracy
In order to achieve as precise and accurate results as possible, bar-code has been introduced and it includes test tube containing your blood sample marking including your full name, date and number of your visit received when you reported for the tests. Depending on the necessary analyses, the test tubes are further sent to the appropriate devices where the following processing is being performed.
2. Reliability of the test results
Every device and apparatus in our laboratory is under control of the laboratory technicians, as well as medical biochemists. Intern controls are performed on the regular daily basis and they include testing and checking of the control samples ranging to various values levels. The control sample contain different and various parameters and their accurately defined values. When for each parameter the accurate values are received, only then we can start the routine process of blood samples processing and analyzing. In order to increase the reliability on the highest level of preciseness and accuracy, control samples are being used as test marks several times a day..
3. Safety
In order to have the best control of our every day working process and results, we have started for several years already so-called external control, both national and international. This means that we are given by the authority control center a test sample whose real values levels we do not know at the time we receive it, and we are obliged to perform the analyses of this test sample in the same way we perform it for all our patients’ analyses. After the analyses are done, we send the received test values to the center for test organization and in a very short period of time we receive from them the results of the planned and expected result level in comparison to our results’ levels. Just to inform you, since we have started these security procedures, we have never kept the comparison tests as a secret, but as a controllable transparent data.
