In the Health Centre « Dr Ristić» there is department of general medicine including specialists for general medicine area and general practitioners.
General practitioners and specialists of general medicine perform health checks and examinations in the premises of the Health Centre every day from 8AM to 9.30PM, while home visits are available 24 hours a day, every day in a week.
Physicians from this department provide for their patients:
- General practitioner’s examination including ECG,
- spirometry,
- consultations and examinations related to vaccination process,
- muscular and/or vein therapy,
- free of charge consultations by phone, related to your current health problems or your questions.
General practitioners offer a wide range of health services and such physicians should be what we popularly call family doctors.
With the assistance of their colleagues, specialists in other medical branches, general practitioners are perfectly capable to take care of medical, social and psychological aspects of their patients and their family members.
The institution of family doctor has become a little bit ‘forgotten’ in many countries, but it is important and we would like to implement this efficient and important good practice again.
