Rheumatology
is the part of internal medicine dealing with diagnostics, follow up and therapy of the bones and joints system, including systematic diseases of joint tissues and osteoporosis.
Apart from rheumatologic examination, our Health Centre offers OSTEODENSITYOMETRY, i.e. a painless method which is used for detecting and measuring the density of bone tissue, aiming early detecting of osteoporosis and follow up of the therapy effects.

The examination may be followed by laboratory analyses, as well as targeted X-ray of spine and spinal area, periphery joints, hips, knees, shoulders, etc…
Within the therapy procedures, intraarthicular injections (also known as blockades) are available. The patients are also in position to choose various procedures of physical therapy which is essentially the part of regular treating of most cases of rheumatic diseases.
